Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Tanglewood Property Group has carved a reputation as a leader in property investment and management for over 30 years.

We understand the value of an investment and our operational and ownership experience allows us to profitably manage across many property asset classes.

Tanglewood Property Group works closely with the brokerage community, including Cushman & Wakefield, CBRE, JLL, NAI Houston, Transwestern, Cresa Houston, Newmark Knight Frank, Stream Realty, Colliers International, to name a few. Much of our success stems from local real estate brokers who work closely with our leasing team.

David Chao is the executive chairman of Tanglewood Property Group. He oversees the company’s overall strategy and vision.

Prior to joining Tanglewood Property Group, David was Westlake Chemical Corporation’s Vice President of Business Development for Asia and the Middle East. Prior to Westlake, David was President and Director at PT Titan Petrokimia Nusantara, a petrochemical company based in Indonesia.

David holds a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

As President of Tanglewood Property Group, Henry is responsible for overseeing all business units including portfolio analysis, property and asset management, property leasing, business development and real estate investments.

Henry has over 30 years of executive-level commercial real estate experience working with regional and national powerhouse companies including Hines, Prentiss Properties, Grubb & Ellis and Colliers.

Henry is the former President of the Houston CCIM Chapter and former Regional Vice President for the CCIM Institute. He is designated as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) as a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional).

Henry holds a BBA degree from Sam Houston State University.

Paul MacInnis, CPA, is responsible for overseeing all financial reporting, partnership and loan compliance.

Paul started his career in public accounting with Touche Ross & Co before taking a position as Controller for Parkway Investments, a real estate company.

Paul’s responsibilities encompassed financial oversight of land development, property acquisitions & dispositions, financing and operations in various real estate asset classes.

Paul holds a BA in Accounting, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Akron, Ohio.

Dean Wilkens joined Tanglewood Property Group in 1987 and is responsible for the office leasing team for the Houston based portfolio. During Dean’s tenure at Tanglewood, he has negotiated leases for 2 million square feet of office space in Houston Texas, including over 300,000 square feet for Schlumberger’s national HQ office.

Dean also manages the company’s lease marketing activities, project leasing, lease negotiations, tenant relations and assists the acquisitions team.

Dean holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance from the University of Houston.

Robert Lazzari joined Tanglewood Property Group in 2012 after working for GE Capital, ARGUS, Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE.

With a strong financial background and commercial property experience, Robert has had success at all levels in his 28-year career including his role in the significant achievement of winning two BOMA International Building of the Year (“TOBY”) Awards for office buildings above one million square feet.

Robert holds a BS from University of Texas, and an MBA from the University of Houston.

Robert is designated as a Real Property Administrator (RPA) from the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).

Cliff Rudolph is responsible for property acquisitions and investments. Cliff has over 35 years’ experience in commercial real estate and has been involved in the acquisition, development and disposition of office and multifamily commercial properties in excess of 10 million square feet and with an aggregate market value in excess of $2.5 billion.

Prior to joining Tanglewood, Cliff held executive level positions with Crescent Real Estate Equities, Hicks Ventures, the Novati Group, Transworld Properties, Koll Real Estate Group and Hines. Cliff has been a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) since 1995.

Cliff holds a BBA from the University of Texas and an MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas.
